Our Reindeer Encounter + Day Pass is our most immersive experience and includes everything included with a Day Pass, plus a 30-minute guided experience inside our reindeer enclosure.

Every Reindeer Encounter Ticket includes a Full Day Pass. There is no separate admission required.

Guests with a Day Pass can enjoy viewing the reindeer from outside the fence throughout the day. Reindeer Encounter guests have the opportunity to step inside the enclosure for an unforgettable up-close experience with our herd.

Your admission also includes unlimited access to the farm from opening until closing. You are welcome to arrive before your scheduled encounter, enjoy the farm throughout the day, participate in your encounter, and continue enjoying all of the activities after your encounter—even after dark under the glow of our Christmas lights.

What’s Included in the Reindeer Encounter?

Your scheduled encounter is a 30-minute guides shared group experience with up to 30 guests total.

One of our knowledgeable staff members will begin by sharing fun facts about reindeer, introducing you to members of our herd, and providing a brief safety overview before everyone enters the enclosure together.

Once inside, our reindeer are positioned throughout the enclosure with their handlers at several different photo opportunities. Throughout the experience, our staff will continue sharing information about the reindeer and our family, answer questions, assist with photos, and help create a memorable experience for your family.

This is the only opportunity to capture unforgettable holiday photos with real reindeer from inside their enclosure. Guests are welcome to take photos throughout the experience, including at our antique sleigh surrounded by live evergreens with one of our reindeer—usually Clarice—which creates a beautiful holiday card photo.

Many guests also have the opportunity to pet the reindeer, depending on each animal’s personality and comfort that day.

Your Ticket Includes Full Day Pass Admission

Your Reindeer Encounter ticket also includes full Day Pass admission, giving you unlimited access to the farm all day and evening.

Depending on the date you visit, the farm opens at 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM and remains open until 8:00 PM. Beginning around 4:30 PM, our Christmas lights illuminate the farm, transforming the entire property into a magical Christmas experience.

Unlike many holiday attractions, our activities remain open throughout the day and evening—even after the Christmas lights come on. Whether you visit during daylight, under the lights, or both, your admission allows you to enjoy the farm for the entire day.

Whether you visit during the day, after dark, or both, your admission allows you to enjoy the farm at your own pace throughout your visit.

Meet More Than Just Reindeer

In addition to our reindeer, guests enjoy visiting our kunekune pigs, bunnies, miniature cows, miniature donkeys, alpacas, and several other farm animals throughout the property. Many of our animals enjoy interacting with guests, creating even more memorable experiences during your visit.

Plan to Spend the Day

Most families spend several hours enjoying everything the farm has to offer. With unlimited access from opening until closing, many guests arrive during the day, enjoy their Reindeer Encounter, and stay into the evening to experience the entire farm under the glow of thousands of Christmas lights.

Whether you’re visiting for the reindeer, holiday traditions, family activities, or simply to make lasting Christmas memories together, the Reindeer Encounter + Day Pass is designed to be much more than a 30-minute experience—it’s a full day of holiday fun.

RULES:

1. Arrive for your scheduled encounter 15 min early. These are scheduled events with limited time slots. If you are late you will forfeit the up-close encounter portion of your visit.
2. All children under 3 must be held while in the reindeer pen.
3. No strollers or car seats inside encounter area.
4. No running or horse play.
5. Must listen to staff members at all times
6. Failure to comply will end your encounter without refund.
7. You are participating at your own risk.
8. Tickets can be rescheduled with a 72-hour notice as long as we have the availability.
9. Sanitization is key to keeping our reindeer healthy. Goats and sheep are DEADLY to reindeer. If you have been around them, you must change your clothes and shoes before visiting the farm.
10. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket for the reindeer encounter.
