Best. Christmas. Ever.
Welcome to The Souths Only Immersive Reindeer Experience
The Reindeer Farm is a family-owned and operated farm in Bowling Green, Kentucky, built on a simple dream—to create a place where our family could spend more time together.
Long before there were guests, Christmas lights, or reindeer encounters, there were two parents trying to balance careers, travel, and raising three young children. We wanted to be more than busy parents—we wanted to build something that allowed us to be present. We wanted our children to grow up working alongside us, caring for animals, learning the value of hard work, and creating memories together.
The Reindeer Farm wasn’t originally built for the public.
It was built for our family.
As our dream grew, so did the idea of sharing it with others. We realized that if this little farm could bring our family closer together, maybe it could do the same for other families looking to slow down during the busiest season of the year.
When we opened in 2020, the farm looked very different than it does today. We welcomed guests with just two reindeer, our Holiday Barn, an indoor playground, a bounce house, and a simple petting zoo made from straw bales that was home to a few bunnies.
Today, The Reindeer Farm has grown into The South’s Only Immersive Reindeer Experience, welcoming friends and families from across the region each Christmas season. While we’ve added new animals, attractions, activities, and experiences over the years, our mission has remained exactly the same: creating meaningful family memories.
One thing that makes this place especially meaningful to us is that we built it ourselves.
What was once a soybean field has been transformed by countless hours of hard work into the farm you see today. We set the fence posts, built the barns, designed the layout, planted the trees, and continue to improve the farm every single year. It’s truly been a family effort. Our children—Aniston, Ashton, and Little Russ—have grown up right alongside the farm, helping with projects, caring for the animals, and welcoming guests. If you visit, don’t be surprised to see them working just as hard as the rest of us.
Of course, the heart of our farm has always been our animals.
Every reindeer has a unique personality that makes them special. Flea has become a favorite among many returning guests, while Mistletoe is well known for her beautiful, one-of-a-kind antlers. Each spring brings new excitement as we welcome new calves, and this year we were thrilled to introduce Lux, Finn, and Kodiak to the farm. Watching them grow and seeing families meet them for the very first time has been one of the greatest joys of the season.
Although we’ve grown tremendously since 2020, we’re far from finished. Every year brings new ideas, new projects, and new ways to make your visit even more memorable. We’re constantly dreaming, building, and improving because we believe every family deserves a place where they can unplug, laugh together, and make memories that last long after Christmas is over.
As much as we’ve grown, one thing has never changed.
This is still our family’s farm.
Every fence, every barn, every activity, every reindeer, and every Christmas tradition has been created with the hope that your family leaves with memories you’ll treasure for years to come.
Because at the end of the day, that’s what The Reindeer Farm has always been about.
Helping your family leave saying…
Best. Christmas. Ever.
